Lucia Beach Puerto Rico, the Panoramic Route with its views of the sea coast, flamboyan trees, the Spanish lighthouse at Punta Tuna built in 1890, El Cocal Beach Puerto Rico, a popular surfing spot, Palmas del Mar Resort Puerto Rico with two 18 hole golf courses, hotel, equestrian center, many restaurants, and a marina where snorkling, diving, and fishing trips can be arranged. The ruins of the Roig Sugar Mill, a historic Puerto Rico sugar processing plant, are also here in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico.

North:

Nearby Fajardo has a small airport with air service to the Virgin Islands and the Puerto Rico out islands of Culebra and Vieques. Ferry service is also available here to Culeba and Vieques. With an early start, it is possible to hike in El Yunque, in the morning and cross Hwy 3 to Luquillo Beach for an afternoon of sun, sand and swimming.
